The founder of EnergyVolt, Brett Macey has gained over 15 years in manufacturing experience in the renewable energy sector and specialising in premium power inverters for both on and off grid power applications and has spent over 25 years working in the solar industry.
He is a Solar Engineer and accredited Solar System Designer and Installer. 
Brett has been involved with many large solar and battery projects, my last major contract was Project Engineering Manager for the “Exchange of the Future” programme with Telstra. This project consisted of looking at the latest renewable energy technologies and working with manufactures such as Tesla to develop an On and Off grid battery solar solution for Telstra’s Telephone Exchanges around the country. The project ran for 3 years.

Over the years he has been instrumental in the development of some 16 products, ranging from DC to AC Pure Sine Wave Inverters, DC to DC Dual Battery Chargers, Solar Regulator, Grid Tie Inverters, Battery Management Systems that have been put into mass production with thousands of units sold around the world by Rich Electric Ltd, along with other units distributed through Jaycar Electronics stores and wholesale distribution networks in Australia, NZ and South Pacific. He was also apart of one of the first organisations to develop from the ground up, a True Interactive Pure Sine Wave Inverter that was stackable up to 90kW, could operate in single, two and three phase applications and would allow you to power your home or business, both on and off grid with solar and other renewable energy that could be stored into batteries and used at night as well as buying and selling stored solar energy back to the grid. As well as being able to installed in motor homes, caravans and boats. The Rich Electric Super Combi was developed in late 90’s and put into production around the world in early 2000. Unfortunately its only now, some 20 years later people are starting to understand the true benefits of storage energy into batteries for systems that are connected to the grid.
